In order to pay tribute to the wonderful imagination that LaSalle residents display in decorating their homes and giving the Borough a festive appearance, the Beautification Committee once again organized the Holiday Magic competitions. This year, residents proved—yet another time—how important it is to them to make their living environment look attractive.
The winners of the 2009 editionDecember 10-13, the Beautification Committee members went up and down the streets of the Borough in search of the most original and magical decorations of all LaSalle residents. The grand prize was awarded to the owners at 7106, rue Chouinard. For the overall effects of their decorations, the lucky winners earned a $100 gift certificate redeemable at the stores in Carrefour Angrignon.
The second prize was awarded to the residents at 40, 67e Avenue. Their creativity was rewarded with a $75 gift certificate redeemable at Carrefour Angrignon as well as a magnificent poinsettia plant.
To also spotlight the extraordinary decorations of five other homes in LaSalle, poinsettias were awarded to the residents who decorated their homes at the following addresses:

• 7658, rue Jean-Chevalier
• 8103, rue Juliette
• 136, rue Hepworth
• 8226, rue Pagé
