The students at Allion Elementary were gearing up for their annual St. Patrick’s Day luncheon for their grandparents and other seniors in the community. The luncheon has been an Allion tradition for over 20 years and is a much anticipated event in the school’s community.
Every year, 200 seniors are invited to the school where they are served by the school’s grade six students. The students have spent a lot of time making sure the gym, where lunch will be served, is decorated for the occasion. Irish dancers and singers will also be on hand to provide entertainment.
Allion’s St. Patrick’s Day luncheon took place on Tuesday, March 16th from 11:30am to 12:30pm. The school is located at 140 – 9th Avenue in LaSalle.
