The school is a place of reunion and exchange, bringing together people with the same passion: the dog world. The classes are also very interesting to young people aspiring to a junior handling career or to junior handlers ambitious to improve their handling.
The Deberlac handling school offers you the basic tools and techniques of handling plus seminars on dog anatomy, conformation as well as more advanced seminars on movement, measurements and how to choose a show dog.
The `Deberlac' name was chosen to honor André DesRosiers, it was is kennel name in 1955 while he was breeding German Shepherds later on changing to Samoyeds. André bred and produce many Samoyeds champions for more than 15 years. A trophy offered to the Samoyed Club of Ontario for the Best Puppy in Specialty bears the name ‘‘The Deberlac Cup’’.
André Desrosiers is a celebrity in the Dog World, he is an example for a whole generation. It is with much motivation, passion and determination that he succeeded is career as a breeder, handler and instructor. The Deberlac handling school wants to honor this man and his talent! We do not want to replace André DesRosiers, because André is irreplaceable. We simply want to offer continuity for this is what he would have wanted.
