The all new 120 bus line for Lachine/LaSalle was implemented on Monday, March 29 and is a supplementary and quicker connection to and from the two boroughs. It offers commuters a much more optimised route with a limited number of stops.
This new service is available during the day, from Monday to Friday (15 minutes during rush hour/20 minutes outside rush hours). Service begins at 5:00 in the morning and ends when the metro closes at night. Thanks to this additional line, a more direct and quicker access to Angrignon metro will be available to individuals working in Lachine Hospital, LaSalle Borough, L'Octogone library, LaSalle General Hospital and the André-Laurendeau Cégep.
Mrs. Manon Barbe, LaSalle Mayor and officer in charge of transportation for the City of Montreal’s executive committee, said “public transportation facilities between Lachine and LaSalle were insufficient, forcing people to take their cars. But we welcome line 120 enthusiastically. I am convinced that numerous residents will be using this new service.”
Residents are invited to consult Planibus for this line which will contain the schedule for spring. For additional information, call STM-INFO (514 786-4636), or visit the web site at www.stm.info where you will find a wealth of useful information.
