A 16-year old sustained serious head injuries after being hit head-on by a bus of the <@Ri>Société de transport de Montrél<@$pl. The incident occurred before 8:00 am on Wednesday, March 24 at the corner of Benoit and Ménard Streets, near the Terre-des-Jeunes and Children's World Academy schools.
Upon impact, the young man got stuck under the vehicle as it turned right on the street. It took 30 minutes before rescuers could get him out of his precarious position. It appears that the man’s health deteriorated when he arrived at the hospital. The driver of the vehicle never saw the victim when he made the turn.
