Last Monday, the regular monthly LBPSB Council meeting was held and with it, the latest round of administrative shuffles, but this year, with a little surplus of people due to some closures and very little retirements, the Eastern sector wasn’t hit that much.
The big news, though, was current CWA Principal David Meloche getting a big promotion to Eastern sector director replacing the retiring Charles Merilees. Coming to CWA will be David Estok, who was Principal at Springdale and Spring Garden for the last 6 years. Previously to that, he was also the Principal at Verdun Elementary and Woodland School.
Over at St. Lawrence Sr. with a reduction in student numbers, they lose VP France de la Rochelle who goes to Riverview and Verdun Elementary, as she will split her time between both schools. She replaces Miss Sylvie Martin, who becomes VP at the new Maple Grove in Lachine. We wish all parties well in their new endeavors.
