Justin Timberlake spotted cozying up to Olivia Wilde

Jersey Shore’s Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi was paid $32,000 (!!!) to speak at Rutgers University in New Jersey last Thursday. In her speech, she encouraged students to “study hard, but party harder.”

There’s quite a bit of controversy over this whole thing because Snooki’s fee was $2,000 higher than Rutgers is planning to pay Nobel-winning novelist Toni Morrison to give the university’s commencement address in May.

The 23-year-old reality star offered some very important words of wisdom to the students: “When you’re tan, you feel better about yourself.”

Jay Leno couldn’t have said it better: “You know what this means? We’ve finally found people dumber than Snooki.”

Although I had no intention of ever writing about Charlie Sheen, I felt this news was too amusing to pass up. The actor completely bombed the premiere of his “Torpedo of Truth” tour Saturday night in Detroit, where fans booed him and walked out of the show early.

At one point, Sheen had the audacity to ask the audience to raise their hands if they had ever done crack. When only a few hands went up, he said he was “surprised because Detroit seems like a good place to get crack.”

Since the “Detroit Incident,” ticket prices to Charlie’s future shows have dropped drastically. Some tickets have actually decreased from $126 to a mere $24! I honestly can’t say that I feel bad for the lunatic.

Michael Bublé, 35, married Argentine actress Luisana Loreley Lopilato de la Torre in Buenos Aires, Argentina, on Thursday.

The couple got engaged in 2009, when the singer proposed in front of Lopilato’s family.

Bublé first met his 23-year-old Argentine TV star wife after his concert in Buenos Aires in November 2008. “They met at a party the record company threw for him,” a friend of the singer’s said. “When he met her, he said it was love at first sight.”

On that note, Elizabeth Hurley has filed for divorce from Arun Nayar, her husband of four years.

The Estée Lauder spokesmodel reportedly blamed Nayar’s “unreasonable behaviour” for the split, though it was Hurley’s own behaviour that grabbed headlines in December, when photos showed her kissing Australian cricket star Shane Warne outside a London restaurant.

At the time, the model/actress explained via Twitter: “For the record, my husband Arun and I separated a few months ago. Our close friends & family were aware of this.” I wonder what “unreasonable behaviour” she’s referring to??

Less than a month after announcing his split with girlfriend of four years Jessica Biel, Justin Timberlake was spotted cozying up to House actress Olivia Wilde. The Now co-stars went to The Roxbury in Hollywood Saturday night, and were seen snuggling in the VIP section. The two arrived at the club together, and also left together at 3 a.m.

Last month, Wilde, 27, filed for divorce from her husband of eight years, Italian Prince Tao Ruspoli.

One source claims that “nothing’s going on. They’re just friends.” We’ll see about that!!

There is a new book about our country's addiction to prescription drugs (and other things) called "Addict Nation." The author is a recovering alcoholic and tv host-Jane Velez-Mitchell. Reviews are pretty good at http://addictnation.org
